The return fee applies to all returned orders, with one fee per order. It’s $8 for US customers - see [here](https://help.thereformation.com/en_us/what-is-your-return-policy-ry51JfnSh#return-table) for international customers. To avoid paying the return fee, choose one of the following return methods. You still need to return/exchange within 30 days from when you receive your order.

  
**Return Online for Instant Ref Credit  \[US ONLY\]**  
  
Get the full amount of your return back when you select Instant Ref Credit as your refund method. Ref Credit is redeemable on reformation.com and at all Ref stores. The credit is available for use immediately after submitting your return with the IRC option in the returns portal.

**Exchange Online  \[US ONLY\]**  
  
You can exchange without paying a return fee when you select another in-stock size or colorway that’s the same price as your original order. If the color you want to exchange for is a different price than the one you initially ordered, you will not be able to exchange and will have to return and re-order. You are only eligible to exchange one time, and if you decide to return your exchanged item, you will be charged a return fee.

**Return In-Store**  
  
We don’t charge a return fee for in-store returns. Find your nearest Ref store [here](https://www.thereformation.com/stores.html) to return in person.

**Become our Friend with Benefits**  
  
Members of our Friends with Benefits loyalty program aren’t charged a return fee as long as they keep one item from their order. Anyone can join Friends with Benefits by spending and keeping $1,000 USD (or the equivalent in your local currency) of Ref product in a calendar year. This excludes promotional offers, taxes, returns, and shipping charges. You must place more than one order using the same email address in-store and/or online.

To view the status of your return, go to the [Order Lookup](https://www.thereformation.com/order-status?isLookup=true) page, enter your email and order number.Or, if you’re signed in, select the order from your Order History on your Account page. Then, click 'Returns' on the Order Detail page to view your return status. Customer Love does not have any information about your return status not shown on the portal.
