# How do I redeem my e-gift card?

Ref Account

  
To add your e-gift card to your Ref account, follow these steps: 

1.  Log into your [Ref account](https://www.thereformation.com/order-status?rurl=1) and click My Account. 
    
2.  Select ‘Payment’ from the left-hand menu. 
    
3.  Press add a gift card and enter your unique code. 
    
4.  Yay! Your gift card has been successfully added as a payment method to your account. 
    

  
Please note, e-gift card codes are case-sensitive and any additional spaces added will prevent them from applying properly. E-gift cards cannot be retroactively applied to an order once it has been placed.  
  
If you choose to add your e-gift card as a payment method, it will automatically apply to your cart at checkout. If you do not wish to use your e-gift card after it has been added as a payment method you may remove it from your payment method by clicking the trash can icon at checkout or on the Payment section of your account. 

  

Guest Checkout

  
To redeem your e-gift card through Guest Checkout, follow these steps:  

1.  At the payment section at checkout, find the section titled “Got a gift card?”
    
2.  Select add and enter your and enter your unique code. 
    
3.  At this point, you can either select to check your balance or apply to your order. 
    
4.  Once you’ve selected apply to order, your order total will update to reflect your e-gift card applied balance. 
    

  
Please note, e-gift card codes are case-sensitive and any additional spaces added will prevent them from applying properly. E-gift cards cannot be retroactively applied to an order once it has been placed.  
  
If your gift card amount is less than your order total, you will need to select an additional payment method at checkout to cover the remaining balance of the order. If your gift card has a remaining balance after an order is placed, you can use the remaining balance on your next purchase. Be sure to save your e-gift card code to use again next time! 

  

In-store

  
To redeem your e-gift card in-store, be sure to have your e-gift card code on hand for the associate to apply to your purchase.
